Retrofit Ready website now live

Retrofit Ready launched its new website last Thursday, May 23, in the Hive Carrick-on-Shannon and is now live.

Retrofit Ready is a community led awareness raising measure for home retrofit scale up.

Staff will design, deliver and refine participatory training for local retrofit advocates working under existing LDC & SEC structures.

The aim to achieve heightened awareness of technical and commercial questions so homeowners can engage with retrofit contractors & SEAI grants from a position of knowledge.

The easily navigated site provides information on a wide range of retrofitting topics from simple insulation processes to a One Stop Shop project. It also contains all available SEAI grants information.

The website was designed by Peadar Geelan from ATU Sligo in association with the Community Retrofit Champions, ATU Sligo, Plan Energy, the Irish Local Development Network and the four Local Development Companies in Cavan, Monaghan, Sligo & Leitrim namely Cavan County Local Development, Monaghan Integrated Development, Leitrim Development Company and Sligo LEADER Partnership.
