Mr Daly’s death marks the loss of a dedicated and deeply passionate media professional.

Paul Cox, who workd with Mr Daly at CavanTV, remembers him for his efforts to incorporate technology and broadcasting in a rapidly changing media landscape.

“It was a pleasure to work with Brian on CavanTV and present the first online music show in this area. It was all Brian’s idea. My heart is genuinely broken. Rest in peace my friend,” said Mr Cox.
