Castle Leslie Estate hailed one of the best workplaces for health and wellbeing
Castle Leslie Estate has been recognised as one of the Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing 2026 in Ireland by Great Place To Work. The Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing recognition celebrates organisations that are committed to creating consistently positive and supportive workplace experiences, enabling employees to bring their whole selves to work and maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. This recognition builds on the global Best Workplaces methodology and is based on the average of 17 wellbeing-related statements from Great Place to Work’s Trust Index survey.
The data, gathered from 15,696 employees, shows that these organisations are setting a strong standard for employee wellbeing. An average of 87% of employees report a positive experience in key areas of wellbeing, including feeling supported, encouraged to maintain work-life balance, and working in psychologically and emotionally healthy environments. This stands in clear contrast to the experience of employees in the average Irish organisation, highlighting the meaningful difference made by those who prioritise wellbeing as part of their culture.
By embedding wellbeing into everyday practices, these organisations are not only enhancing employee experience, but also building workplaces where people are more likely to stay and thrive. Organisations were only eligible for this recognition if they were already Great Place to Work Certified.
“Our people make working at Castle Leslie Estate a truly special experience every day. We celebrate and thank them for all they do to earn this incredible honour,” said Brian Baldwin, CEO of Castle Leslie Estate.
“Sustainable performance starts with people,” said Jim Flynn, CEO of Great Place to Work Ireland. “The 70 organisations recognised as the Best Workplaces for Health & Wellbeing 2026 understand that supporting employee wellbeing is not a short-term initiative, but a long-term commitment. That consistency is what gives people a reason to stay and enables them to perform at their best.”
