Beloved son of Suzanne and the late Thomas, and loving brother of Brandon and Alisha.

He will be very sadly missed by his loving mother, brother, sister, uncles and their partners, aunts, cousins, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Dolphin’s Barn, SCR on Friday, May 1, from 5pm until 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 2, at 12 noon in St. Teresa’s Church, Donore Avenue, followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 1:45 pm approx.

To honour TJ, will those attending his funeral please wear bright clothing.

Martin Gaffney, Abbey Bar, Railway Road, Cavan Town, Cavan

Died 29/04/2026 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his Parents, Pat and Mary, his brother Tom.

Martin will be sadly missed by his loving family, wife Agnes, sons Justin, Eamon and Martin, daughters-in-law Dymphna, Angela and Tatiana, his adoring grandchildren Aaron, Emma, and Kiara, brothers John and Paddy, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many good friends and neighbours.

Removal on Saturday afternoon to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for a Funeral Mass at 3.30pm. Following Mass the funeral cortege will travel to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for cremation service at 5pm.

P.J (Patrick) Pritchard, Leicester, England and formerly Cornasaus, Mountain lodge, Cootehill, Co Cavan. Sunday April 26th at Leicester Royal Infirmary, after a short illness. Pre-deceased by his parents Michael and Bridget, his brothers Gerry and Mick, brother in law John Pat and sister in law Pam.

P.J was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his heart broken children Jessica, Pamela, Sarah, Kieran, Lisa, Padraig and Sophie, son in law Paul, his adored grandchildren Auryn, Narayan, Kian, Bella, Mia and Harper, his sister Mary, brother Phelim, sisters in law Maura and Geraldine, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Eileen Ebbitt (née Whyte), Ricehill, Crossdoney, Cavan, Thursday, Aporil 30 in her 97th year, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Joe, son William, daughter Doris (Fuller), brothers Charlie, Tom, Cecil, Herbie and Reggie, sisters Margaret and Evelyn. Dearly loved Mother of Joe (Margaret), son in law Wayne, adored grandmother of Louise (Darragh), Mark (Ellie), William (Heather), Craig, Adam (Tara) and great grandmother of Jack and Evie and lifelong friend, Kenneth North. Remembered with love by her son, daughter in law, son in law, grandchildren, partners and great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral service in St. Fethlimidh`s Cathedral, Kilmore on Saturday at 2pm, followed by committal and burial in Kilmore Cathedral Parish Graveyard.

Nora Woods (née Clarke), Billis, Drumalee, Cavan, May 1, 2026, peacefully at her home in the loving care of her family.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Sean. Nora will be sadly missed by her loving daughter, Julie, sons, Padraig and John, daughters-in-law, Kyra and Jacinta, grandchildren, Shaun, Alex, Mia, Reuben, her sister, Agnes, nieces, nephews, neighbours, and many, many friends.

Nora will repose in the family home on Sunday from 5pm until 8pm. A shuttle bus will be in operation from Drumalee GAA car park H12 DY88.

Removal on Monday afternoon at 12:30pm, travelling to the Cathedral of Ss. Patrick and Felim, arriving for Funeral Mass at 1pm. Following mass, committal prayers and burial will take place in Cullies Cemetery in the family plot.

Cyril David Hall, Cortrain, Drum, Co. Monaghan. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff of Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his sister Doreen brothers Jack and Willie.

Cyril will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Ethel, his beloved children Trevor (Florence), Henry (Louie), Cyril (Ina), John (Doreen), Irene (Alex), Doreen (William), his cherished grandchildren, his sister-in-law Mildred, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Funeral cortege will leave his home on Sunday, April 3 at 2pm to arrive at Drum Presbyterian Church for funeral service at 2:30pm, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
