A Celtic Journey in Music, Songs & Dance
Experience an unforgettable celebration of Celtic traditions, led by Musical Director Derek Eakins! Music lovers from across Cavan, Monaghan and beyond are warmly invited to attend “A Celtic Journey in Music, Songs & Dance” in Killinkere Leisure Centre on Friday May 22 at 8pm. Doors open at 7:15pm. With just days to go, excitement is building for what promises to be a memorable celebration of Irish music, song and dance, all in aid of the Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care Fund.
The evening will feature Musical Director Derek Eakins together with The Celtic Choir from Kells and Kilbeg, alongside a wonderful line-up of performers including Fr. Darragh Connolly, Aimie Dyer, Deirdre Shannon, Siobhan McAleese, Airneán Folk Group, McGee Celtic Dance Group and local artist Jenny McCabe.
Audiences can look forward to a rich mix of traditional Irish melodies, uplifting choral pieces, lively dance performances and much-loved songs in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
