Gardaí appeal for information following Ballyjamesduff death
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact them.
Gardaí continue to investigate "all of the circumstances" surrounding the discovery of the body of a man in a residential property in Ballyjamesduff.
The man, aged in his 60s, was found dead on Saturday August 15.
A Senior Investigating Officer (SIO) has been appointed to lead the investigation, while an incident room has been established at Bailieborough Garda Station.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact them.
"Any road users or pedestrians who were in the area of Kilmore estate between 6:00pm and midnight on Saturday, 15th August 2026 and may have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí," a garda spokesperson stated.
The man's body was transferred to the mortuary at Our Lady’s Hospital Navan where a post-mortem examination was carried out by the State Pathologist.
The results of this post-mortem examination are not being released for operational reasons.
"A technical examination of the scene has been carried out," they confirmed.
