Dull and murky today
Dull with scattered outbreaks of rain today, however the weekend looks generally dry according to Met Éireann.
Today will be dull with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle occurring through the day, some heavy bursts this afternoon. Some late sunny spells developing locally though generally murky. Humid with highs of 17 to 20 degrees, best values away from Atlantic. Light southerly winds will increase moderate to fresh at times later.
Any residual rain will clear to clear well scattered showers early on tonight, mainly affecting western areas. Lows of 11 to 14 degrees in moderate westerly winds.
Friday will be a brighter day with a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. Many areas will be dry for the evening hours. Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 degrees, all in moderate to fresh westerly winds.

OUTLOOK: Warm, humid and generally dry this weekend with heavy rain possibly holding off till later on Sunday.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Most areas dry with clear spells, except for some rain along southern and northwestern fringes. Lows 13 to 16 degrees in light to moderate southwest breezes.
SATURDAY: Sunshine and well scattered showers, mainly affecting Connacht and Ulster during the first half of the day. Sunshine will turn hazy later on. Rather warm in moderate westerly winds with highs of 18 to 23 degrees, warmest and driest across Leinster and Munster. Possible patchy drizzle across west and southwest areas after-dark, but otherwise staying dry. Lows of 11 to 15 degrees.
SUNDAY: Some uncertainty, however current indications suggest it will be generally dry early on with hazy sunny spells but with persistent rain possibly moving into west and southwest areas in the evening. Warm and humid with highs of 19 to 25 degrees in mostly moderate southerly winds.
