An event to discuss ways to make the local community more dementia-friendly is planned for Virginia
The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is hosting an event in Virginia tomorrow evening (Tuesday)
The Friends of ASI Dementia-Inclusive Community event will shine a spotlight on how we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for people living with the illness.
The event will discuss how communities, businesses, and local services can play a vital role in creating this more inclusive and supportive society.
People in the community will be asked for their input and attendees will hear some practical examples as well as expert contributions on making communities more inclusive for people living with dementia and their families.
The Friends of ASI Dementa-Inclusive Community event is on at the Virginia Show Centre, The Showgrounds, Virginia from 7pm On Tuesday, 27 May.
