Bernard (Brian) Glancy, Clonegonnell, Cavan, Sunday July 6th 2025, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan.
Predeceased by his parents James and Mary and his brothers Tom, Jim, Ned, Pat, Philip, Peter, Vincent, Terence and Owen.
Brian will be very sadly missed by his sisters in law, cousins, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends. May he rest in peace.
Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham, Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 2.30pm in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Castletara. Kiltegan, Wicklow / Loch Gowna, Cavan / Ferbane, Offaly
Fr. Michael Morris SPS, St. Patrick's Missionary Society, Kiltegan, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan, Diocese of Chikwawa, Malawi, Diocese of Mutare, Zimbabea, New Jersey U.S.A. and Ferbane, Co. Offaly. Died on July 4th 2025, peacefully at Tullamore Regional Hospital.
He was predeceased by his parents James and Bridget, brothers, Tony and Peadar, sisters, Mary Buttigieg and Ann Mulligan. He will be sadly missed by his brothers, Brian and Gerry, sisters, Betty Murphy and Breege Connors, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, parishioners of Ferbane Parish, relatives, neighbours, friends and his society family in Kiltegan.
Grant Fr. Michael Eternal Rest and Peace
Fr Michael will repose in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ferbane on Tuesday (July 8th) from 3pm until the celebration of Mass at 5.30pm. Removal afterwards to the Church of the Holy Family, Loch Gowna, Co. Cavan arriving at 8pm.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday (July 9th) at 12noon, which may be viewed live here, after which, he will be laid to rest in the adjoining Church Grounds.

Terenure, Dublin / Cavan
Smith, Philip, 6th July, 2025. (late of Terenure and formerly of "Oakvale", Farnham Road, Cavan) Suddenly in the care of the staff of the I.C.U. of Beaumont Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Kate and loving father of Barry, Sara and Julie and fantastic grandfather of Abbie, Layla, Alannah, Gracie, Bobby, Miles and Patsy. He will be greatly missed by his heartbroken family and also by his sisters Catherine and Lorraine, his brothers-in-law Liam and John (O'Rourke), sister-in-law Rita (Koenig), his extended family, colleagues, friends and neighbours.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road tomorrow evening (Tuesday 8th July) from 4pm until 6pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 10am in the Church of the Holy Spirit, Kimmage Manor followed by burial in Kilternan Park Cemetery.
