Loughcrew Fairy Festival set to take flight
Rolling green hills brimming with magic
Loughcrew Gardens will be brimming with magic as the Loughcrew Fairy Festival returns on July 19-20, from 12-6pm daily.
Nestled among rolling green hills and ancient trees, this annual event invites families into a world of wonder—hosted by owner Emily Naper, whose passion brings Loughcrew’s historic charm to life.
On the outskirts of Oldcastle, Loughcrew is the perfect day-trip destination for families and dreamers alike.
Children can meet real-life fairies, unicorns, and mermaids, explore the fairy trail, craft magical wands, and enjoy puppet shows, aerial dancers, stilt walkers, and circus performers. From a fairy disco to storytelling and a wishing tree, there’s enchantment at every turn.
Amongst the most head-turning attractions will be eight wolfhounds brought along by the popular Wolfhound Experience.
Adults can unwind with artisan food stalls, shop handmade goods, and stroll through Ireland’s most scenic heritage gardens. With wheelchair access, ample parking, and dog-friendly areas, Loughcrew offers magic for all ages.
Let your imagination take flight at Loughcrew—where fairies are real, and memories are made.
