The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Boylan (née Kieran),
64 Farney Street, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully and surrounded by her family at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, 27th September 2025.
Predeceased by her parents Mary and Tommy and her nephew John.
Deeply regretted by her partner Francis Connolly, her daughters Sharon, Ciara and Edel, her sons Barry and Paul. Sadly missed by her sisters Anne, Maura, Sinéad and Connie, her brothers Tony, Thomas (Toss), Maurice, John, Damian and Noel, her sons-in-law Darren, Bobby and Paddy, her daughters-in-law Debbie and Rachel, her cherished grandchildren Liam, Katie, Dylan, Lauren, Jack, Rihanna, Ryan, Seán, Amelia and Aodha, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her residence, 64 Farney Street, Carrickmacross on Tuesday, 30th September from 2pm to 8p. Removal on Wednesday, 1st October to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross for Funeral Mass at 11am. A private cremation will take place afterwards.

The death has occurred of Catherine Philomena Duffy (née Tobin). Coragh, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly of Drumbaragh, Kells and Rathmore, Athboy, Co. Meath. Suddenly at home. Predeceased by her parents Betty and Patrick, her brother Patrick and her sister Bernadette.
She is survived by her loving sisters Marie and Josephine, her nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces.
She will be missed by all who loved her.

Reposing at McEntee's Funeral Home (A82 K0D7) on Tuesday afternoon from 5 o'clock to 7 o'clock. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.40 arriving at St. Colmcille's Church, Kells for funeral mass at 11 o'clock. Burial afterwards in St. Colmcille's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Bridget (Una) Connolly (née Murtagh), Shiloh, Ballybay Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan and formerly of Strokestown, Co. Roscommon and Birkenhead, Liverpool, peacefully in her 86th year, surrounded by her loving family in the tender loving care of the staff at St. Mary’s Hospital, Castleblayney, Saturday 27th September 2025. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, son Patrick, grandson Padraig, parents Joseph and Kathleen and her brothers and sisters. Removal on Tuesday morning from Deery’s Funeral Home on foot at 10.30am to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Bawn (A75 FY98).

The death has occurred of Roseanna Hughes née Rice, Kinnegan, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan peacefully in the care of the staff of St. Mary’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, Saturday 27th September 2025.
Predeceased by her daughter Aideen, parents, Patrick and Mary, brothers John, Padraig and Brendan.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her devoted husband Brendan, sons Paul and Conor (Orla), daughters, Angela (Paddy), and Hilary (Michael), 14 cherished grandchildren Nicole, Imogen, Aoibheann, Ciara, Jamie, Melissa, Maebh, Ashleigh, Matthew, Liam, Vivienne, Noah, Christopher and Joey, brother James, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Sandra Meehan née Treanor (Nail), Tullylone, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan, H18 PF63. Friday, 26th September, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at Monaghan General Hospital after a long illness, bravely borne.
Predeceased by her father Packie Treanor (Nail), sister-in-law Anne-Marie, father-in-law Mick and mother-in-law Peggy.
Sandra will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband John, her sons and daughter; Pádraig, Cathal, Michael and Catherine, her mother Eileen, her sisters and brothers; Eilish (Ciaran), Pauline (Kevin), Evelyn (Declan), Gerard, Fionnuala (Barry) and Niall (Gail), nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Sandra’s remains will repose at her late residence on Saturday from 2pm to 9pm and on Sunday from 2pm to 9pm.
Sandra’s funeral Mass will take place Monday morning at 11am at St Dympna's Church, Tydavnet, burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. House private on Monday morning to family and friends please. The death has occurred of James (Jim) Rooney, late of Crossalare, Laragh, Castleblayney, peacefully on Saturday, 27 th September 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Sarah (née Connolly) and his brother Francie. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Ann. Fondly remembered by his nieces Franceta, Helena and Sonya and his grand-nieces Emily, Leah and Frankie. Warmly recalled by all his relatives, friends and neighbours.
