Value Centre Cavan Cash & Carry is a finalist in this year’s Excellence in Customer Service category, a recognition that highlights the company’s long-standing reputation for excellence and commitment to its customers.

Located on the Dublin Road in Century Business Park, Value Centre Cavan has been proudly serving the community for more than 50 years. Manager Ann Reilly explains:

“Value Centre has built a reputation for trust, reliability, and excellent customer care. We’re one of 20 Value Centres nationwide, and I’m delighted to say that Cavan consistently ranks in the top three in Ireland for customer service excellence, based on surveys carried out by an independent company.”

The customer base of Value Centre Cavan is diverse, ranging from hospitality businesses and retailers to hospitals, nursing homes, sports clubs, and workplace canteens. Ms Reilly highlights their flexible offering: “Customers can choose the convenience of our delivery service – whether that’s six pallets or just six boxes – or simply call into the depot. We also work hard to make every visit a pleasant experience, with approachable staff who are always ready to help.”

Behind this success is a team of 22 staff members, all trained in customer service to ensure consistency and professionalism. The depot also benefits from four Sales Developers who manage existing accounts, visit new businesses, and keep customers informed about relevant offers. They also help businesses make use of the company’s online ordering platform, Shoplink.

“We realise our customers are busy, and this is a convenient way for them to arrange goods for either collection or delivery,” says Ms Reilly.

At the heart of the business is a clear philosophy: customer service first. As the manager sums up, “It’s about more than supplying goods — it’s about trust, support, and building relationships that last. We’re very proud of the long-term relationships we’ve built with customers across the region, and most importantly, we are committed to delivering the highest standard of customer service into the future, ensuring our customers always feel valued and supported.”
