Philomena (Philly) Clarke, Castlemanor Village, Cavan and formerly Rosses Point, Co. Sligo, suddenly but peacefully, at her home.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Kate Foster.

Philly was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by her husband Martin, her heartbroken daughter Caroline and son in law Davie, her adored grandchildren, Matthew, Amy, Ethan and Daniel, sister, Helen Mc Mahon, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her extended family and a wide circle of friends. May she rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Glenys Carty (née Morgan), Mill Road, Kingscourt, Co. Cavan, and formerly of Surrey, U.K., peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home, Virginia, 7th November 2025.

Predeceased by her parents William and Muriel Morgan, and her sisters Connie Bentley, Pam Hull and Hilda Tucker. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving husband Larry, her daughter Joanne, her grandchildren Aafke, Laurence and Thijs, her son-in-law Romke, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt, (A82 R3W2), on Monday, 10th November, from 3.30pm to 5pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kingscourt, arriving for 6pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning at 10am, followed by private cremation.

Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.

Cavan Town, Cavan

Mary Lynch nee McCaffrey, 31 Tullacmongan, Cavan Town. 7th of November, peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, Charlie and Maureen, and her dearest brother, Charlie. Mary will be sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Johnny, her adoring children, Thomas, Angela (Robbie), John, Rosa (Jim), Michael (Kathleen), Helena (Eamonn), and Rachel (Noel), her siblings, Nuala, Dympna, Martina, Annie and Martin, her adored grandchildren and great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Sunday evening from 4pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 12 noon in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan followed by burial in Cullies Cemetery. Mary’s Funeral Mass may be viewed live on the parish website here.

John McBreen, Elm Grove, Cavan Town, anand Ballyjamesduff, Saturday November 8th, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his parents John and Peggy, his stepmother Agnes and his brother Michael.

Sadly missed by his loving daughter Emma and her mother Catherine, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday morning at 11.00am, in St Brigid's Church, Killygarry Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Laurence (Larry) recently deceased, her son Kevin and daughter-in-law Peggy.

Deeply regretted by her son Feilim and daughters Patricia and Martina and sons-in-law Eugene and Liam.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her brother Michael and his wife Maisie, grandchildren Olivia (Eugene), Nicola, Evanne (Gavin), Dwayne (Artressa), Regina (Thomas), Karla, Dominic, Niall, Ciara, Clare, Niamh, Holly, Carrie and Aifric, great grandchildren Sofia, Jaxon, Ayda and Azayis, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakeland’s Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Sunday from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm. Removal from her home on Monday to arrive at St. Dympna’s Church Upper Lavey for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. House strictly private please.

The death has occurred of Malachy Connolly, Malkitt Cottage, Lurgans Hill, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully surrounded by his loving family, in the tender loving care of the staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Friday 7th November 2025. Predeceased by his mother Mary Ellen Connolly (née Gillick) and his father James Devlin, brothers and sisters in the Connolly and Devlin families. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Kitty, his children Danielle, Stuart, Anthony and Jenny, sister Anne Devlin, son-in-law Cormac, daughters-in-law Anne and Gina, grandchildren Roxanna, Jacob, Cain, Kali, Amber, Ruby, Adam, Jade, Hollie, Malachy and Finn, great-granddaughter Lucy, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The funeral cortege will leave his residence on Tuesday morning driving to the Pound, and on foot via Parnell St to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

Michael predeceased by parents Michael and Delia (Brigid) ,sister Ann Meegan, much loved husband of Ita adored father of Martin (Caroline) Michelle, Stephen (Viktoria) and Sarah.Grandchildren Michael and Conor. Sadly missed and rembered with love by his sisters Mary, Dolores, Brigid and Jacqueline, brothers Larry, Jemmy, Pat and Tom, sisters in law, brothers in law Nieces, Nephews relatives and friends.

Reposing at Magee funeral home Inniskeen from 11am till 7 pm Sunday 9th,reposing at home Monday 10th from 11 am till 3pm Removal Tuesday 11th from his residence at 12.30 to Church of Mary Mother of Mercy Inniskeen arriving for 1 pm Requiem Mass Burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery Inniskeen.
