Carol Service

WHERE: Bunnoe Community Centre

WHEN: Wednesday, December 17, 7pm

WHAT: Annual carol service where people of different religious denominations get together. Includes a recital from Bunnoe Youth Choir. Tea and refreshments will be served afterwards.

Country Jiving

WHERE: Gallonray House, Maudabawn

WHEN: Wednesday, December 17

WHAT: Waltzing, Foxtrotting and Quickstepping class from 7.30-8.30pm, followed by a line dancing class from 8.30-9.30pm. All welcome.

Christmas Family Story Time

WHERE: Ballyconnell Library

WHAT: Join Helen for a Fun & Festive Story Time for all the family. All is encouraged to wear their Jolly Jumpers & Festive Finery! All children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. No booking required.

WHAT: St Mary’s NS present their annual Christmas Concert. Admission is optional and we look forward to a successful show.

WHAT: The Paula Kiernan Music and Drama Group present the Nativity and Carol Service. Everyone welcome.

Christmas Lights Vintage Run

WHERE: Gallonray House, Maudabawn

WHEN: Saturday, December 20, 3.30pm

WHAT: Maudabawn Vintage Club host their Christmas Tractor Run. Registration begins at 3.30pm; procession leaves at 4.30pm. Tractors, cars, and motorbikes are all welcome. Cost is €20 per vehicle. Refreshments served.

Social Dancing

WHAT: Social evening with supper served. Everyone welcome.

Bunnoe Youth Choir

WHERE: St Mary’s Church, Bunnoe

WHEN: Sunday, December 21, 6.30pm

WHAT: A talented group of young people perform an evening of Christmas song and prayer under the tutelage of Meibh McDonnell and Oniosa Fitzsimmons. Admission is free, but voluntary donations will be taken up in aid of the local St Vincent de Paul branch.

Santa Arrives

WHERE: Kilcogy

WHEN: Sunday, December 21, 3pm

WHAT: All roads lead to Kilcogy as Santa pays his annual visit to the parish, keeping up a 46-year-old tradition. It is rumoured that there will be a ‘Special Attraction’ on the street.

A Time to Remember

WHERE: Belturbet Parish Church of Ireland

WHEN: Monday, December 22, 8pm (Assembly at 7.30pm)

WHAT: A service to remember loved ones no longer with us, with Rev. Tanya Woods and guest singer James Kilbane. All are welcome. Contact 086-060 2450. A cash offering will be collected.
