One fourth of Indigos Ego

Best County Cavan arts event: The Arts Festival is amazing, loads of variety, great people involved. We played the big top in the summer and it was a real highlight of our year.

One to watch: Liam McCabe of Feel Bad Movie Club and Grainne Brady. Both have new albums coming out early next year, they are amazing songwriters.

Best film: ‘One Battle After Another’ was excellent. Great director and Johnny Greenwood’s soundtrack is brilliant.

Best book: ‘Annihilation’, Jeff Vandermeer, part of a three book series, really creepy scifi mystery.

Best TV: Watched ‘Dark’ again, best show on Netflix. Enjoying ‘Foundation’ as well.

Best music: I should say ‘Dark Waters’ by Indigos Ego but I can’t stop listening to Deep Sea Diver’s new album ‘Billboard Heart’ they’ve been a real influence on our own music. Cracking band.
