Bruddy (Eugene) Flynn, Ardleny, Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan, Saturday, March 14, 2026, (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Edward & Bridget and his sister Veronica Clinton. Forever remembered by his loving wife Maggie, daughters Maureen (Anthony) and Aisling (Raymond), grandchildren; Meghan (Karl), James and Hannah, sisters Mary Coyle and Bridie Monaghan, brother Sean, Anna Collins, Margaret Gilmartin and Susan Collins (RIP), nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody's Funeral Home, Kilnaleck (A82 DX59) on Sunday (15th) from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday (16th) in St. Patrick's Church, Aughaloora at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballynarry.

Charles John Glackin,former Garda Sergeant, Deerpark, Virginia, Co. Cavan and formerly Dungloe, Co Donegal.

Peacefully at Virginia Primary Care Centre surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 14 2026.

Predeceased by his wife, Mary, and son, Paul.

Charles will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family and friends. His son Joseph, daughter Imelda, sister Brigid Annie, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grand children, nieces nephews relatives and friends.

Reposing at the family home at Aras Mhuire, Deerpark Virgini,a Co Cavan (a82vp21) from 1pm until prayers at 8 pm today, Sunday, March 15.

Removal to Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia arriving for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass on Monday, March 16, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bridget Lyons (née Tully), Killycannon, Cavan. Saturday, March 14, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Castlemanor nursing home, Cavan.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jimmy, son Sean and his wife Philomena.

Sadly missed by her loving sons Tommy (Kathleen) and Jimmy (Breege), daughter Breda (John Connolly), her adored 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Ernest Thompson, 3 Abbey Road, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ardmone, Mountain Lodge, Cootehill, Co. Cavan.

Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026 surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff of Tipperary University Hospital, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

Predeceased by his parents Walter and Emily Thompson.

Ernest will be sadly missed by his partner Teresa, his daughter Emily - Jayne and his sons Thomas (Amy) and John (Corinne) and their mother Breda, his brothers Noel (Rosemarie) and Samuel (Pauline), his sisters Elizabeth Dawson (John) and Hazel Trotter (Freddie), grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Resting at Mullens Funeral Home, Cootehill, Co. Cavan (H16FD25) from 4pm until 7pm on Sunday, March 15.

Funeral cortége will leave the residence of Samuel and Pauline Thompson on Monday, March 16 at 1:30pm to arrive at Kilmount Presbyterian Church (H16PF76) for funeral service at 2pm followed by interment in adjoining graveyard.

Thomas Comaskey, Craigavon, Armagh / formerly Cavan. Passed away peacefully at Evora Hospice, Newry, surrounded by his devoted family, on March 13, 2026.

Beloved husband of Carmel and much-loved father of Brian, Rhionna and Fearghal.

Thomas’s remains will be reposing at his home, 42 Corernagh Road, Tandragee, (off Crewmore Road) Craigavon BT62 2DY, from 3 pm until 9 pm on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

Funeral leaving his home on Monday, March 16, at 10am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Ballyargan Road, Craigavon, BT63 6LJ.

Interment will follow afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Thomas will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, sons, daughter, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, and the entire family circle and friends.

Passed away on March 11, 2026, peacefully at his home.
