Pembroke Alliance
Meet our sponsors - Monaghan Business & Tourism Awards
Pembroke Alliance continues to strengthen its reputation as a trusted partner for organisations seeking improved financial performance, operational efficiency, and long-term resilience. With a delivery model grounded in collaboration, technical expertise, and measurable outcomes, the firm has worked with businesses across Ireland since 2012 to unlock value and deliver sustainable improvement.
From its origins in providing Lean Management Consultancy services to in excess of 200 companies nationwide, Carrickmacross based Pembroke Alliance now provides experienced expertise across a range of services including Lean, Green, Digital, Export Sales, Finance & Strategy and HR & Recruitment.
Pembroke Alliance has worked with a wide range of industries over time including Food Production, Furniture, Construction, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing and Engineering and has seen many huge success stories.
Founder and CEO John Daly recalls how one business who sought out its expertise was losing €90,000 per year. “They were then turning a €400,000 profit within 18 months of working with us. There are people running businesses that are so busy with the day-to-day that they miss the areas that we can see savings.”
SAVINGS
Working with Robert Potter, one of the leading Lean construction experts in Europe, Pembroke has savings of between €465K to €7M for various construction companies over the last five years.
At the core of Pembroke Alliance’s approach is a commitment to understanding each client’s unique operating environment. Rather than applying generic frameworks, the team develops tailored strategies aligned to specific commercial and operational needs. Their service offering spans Lean Manufacturing, Digitalisation, and Export-focused Sales Growth, with each engagement designed to produce practical, lasting results.
Process optimisation and cost control remain central themes in their project work. By combining detailed data analysis with hands-on implementation support, Pembroke Alliance ensures that improvement initiatives translate from strategy into action. Clients benefit not only from clear recommendations but from structured delivery that embeds change within day-to-day operations.
EXPERIENCE
One of the company’s key differentiators is its cross-sector experience. Drawing on insight gained across multiple industries, Pembroke Alliance applies proven methodologies alongside innovative thinking to varied and complex business environments. This flexibility allows the firm to deliver meaningful impact regardless of organisation size or sector.
For CEO John Daly, there are practical lessons that have stayed with him like not forgetting mistakes that cost him financially and to surround himself with a team of individuals that are smarter than him. There are now 35 associates on the Pembroke Alliance team. “We call on experts in different areas to get a clear picture of where savings are.”
John’s commitment to Pembroke Alliance is very clear: “I am old-school. I am past retirement age but the day I retire will be the day they put me in the ground. I enjoy what I do. I enjoy turning businesses around and fixing them.”
He also commends the role that Enterprise Ireland plays in financially supporting many of its clients’ business. “They need to get kudos for their role in what we do,” he highlights saying that once a business is engaged in exporting goods or services, creating jobs and demonstrating sustainability, then Enterprise Ireland is a big support.
Pembroke Alliance’s performance in 2025 stands as a strong example of its results-driven model. Over the course of the year, Pembroke Alliance delivered €12m in savings for clients through a combination of strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier renegotiations, enhanced spend visibility, and more efficient operational frameworks. These outcomes reflect both the trust clients place in the organisation and its consistent focus on tangible financial improvement.
Beyond project delivery, Pembroke Alliance is also committed to supporting the broader business community. This year, the company is proud to sponsor the Monaghan Business and Tourism Awards, recognising excellence, innovation, and enterprise across the region. The partnership aligns with the firm’s belief that strong local businesses and a vibrant tourism sector play a vital role in regional economic development.
As Pembroke Alliance continues to expand its reach and capabilities, its mission remains clear: to help organisations operate smarter, perform better, and build resilience for the future.
