Man who died in tractor incident named locally
The man who died in a fatal road traffic collision involving a tractor over the weekend has been named locally as Tommy Reilly.
Aged in his thirties, the Drumavaddy man was involved in a single vehicle collision on a local road in Ardkill Beg, Carrickaboy on Sunday (May 3).
It's understood Tommy was travelling to a Bank Holiday vintage and field day.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene, and his body was removed to Cavan Monaghan General Hospital and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course
Gardaí are continuing to appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to come forward.
"Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage and were travelling in the area between 9:00am and 12:40pm are asked to make this available to investigating Gardaí," a garda spokesperson stated.

"A male driver (aged in his 30s) was pronounced deceased at the scene."
