Monaghan firm creates 60 new jobs nationwide
Ohk Energy in Castleblayney has put a call-out for qualified Irish abroad to come home
MONAGHAN firm, Ohk Energy, has today announced 60 new jobs nationwide and is calling on any Irish abroad who are qualified for the range of jobs available, to reach out.
The renewable energy installer company headquartered in Castleblayney is seeking to hire electricians, roofers, heat pump installers and service engineers among other key roles.
The jobs have been created as Ohk continues to expand in response to growing demand for renewable energy solutions.
The company says its size and operational scale provide certainty for tradespeople seeking stable, long-term employment in a sector undergoing rapid transformation.
As such, Ohk is also calling on any Irish abroad who are qualified for the roles and thinking about returning home to get in touch.
The roles come at a time when competition for skilled tradespeople remains one of the biggest challenges facing the energy sector.
“We know skilled tradespeople have options,” said Ciara King, Ohk Energy’s Director of HR, Recruitment & Training.
“What we’re offering is more than just another job. We’re offering long-term career security in one of Ireland’s fastest-growing industries, backed by a company with real scale, stability and ambition.”
“For electricians, roofers and heat pump installers and service engineers, consistency matters,” Ciara continued.
“Steady work, reliable pay, investment in training, strong systems and the confidence that the company you join is continuing to grow - those things matter enormously in the current market.”
The company says the new roles will be based nationwide, with opportunities available immediately across several departments and regions.
Other open roles include commercials sales reps and trade assistants.
