Protest for more children's disability services

A peaceful public protest for more services for children with disabilities will take place in Cavan Town this Friday (June 12).

Organisers say that despite repeated protests and promises, many children in Cavan are still waiting for the disability services and supports they urgently need.

"Children cannot put their development on hold," their poster reads.

They say every child deserves a voice, access to services and to be seen.

The protest will begin at 10am on June 12 at the Town Square in Cavan Town.
