Cavan’s first Pride set for this weekend

Cavan’s first Pride will be taking place this Saturday, June 13, at 1pm in Cavan Town.

Participants are asked to gather outside Cavan Courthouse from 12:30pm and the march will last for roughly 45 minutes.

The march will be followed by a gathering at the Market Square, where there will be a rally starting at 1:45pm and a block party at 2:30pm.

On the day, petitions will be handed out asking Cavan County Council to back the informed consent model of gender-affirming care, and Trans Healthcare Action will also be holding a registration-only workshop for up to 20 people in the Farnham Arms from 4-6pm.
