Man charged in connection with Carrickmacross incident

Gardaí continue to investigate all the circumstances surrounding a vehicle that was stopped travelling on the N2 south of Carrickmacross on Wednesday, July 22.

The male (aged in his 40s) who was arrested has since been charged in relation to this investigation.

The male is due to appear before the Special Criminal Court at the Criminal Courts of Justice this evening, Saturday, July 25 at the new time of 9pm.
