Baldwin set to manager Cavan hurling team

Joe Baldwin is set to take charge as manager of the Cavan hurlers.

Cavan GAA management committee has recommended Baldwin, for ratification at next county board meeting, as the new Senior Hurling Manager on a three year term.

"Joe's extensive experience at intercounty level, makes him an ideal candidate to lead Cavan hurling forward.

"The Waterford native's six years with Fermanagh, culminating in Lory Meagher Cup glory in 2021 and 2024, demonstrates his ability to develop and motivate players at the highest level," said a spokesperson for the county board.

The backroom team will be appointed in due course.

"We wish Joe every success in his new role," said the spokesperson.
