All-Star nominations for 3 Monaghan players

Three Monaghan players have received nominations for the PWC All-Star awards this season.

The 12-county breakdown is Mayo 11, Kerry seven, Dublin five, and Westmeath four, Monaghan, Armagh and Louth three each, Roscommon, Cork, Galway and Tyrone two each and one from Donegal.

Scotstown's Rory Beggan has been nominated for the goalkeeper award, having previously won an All Star in 2018.

Dylan Byrne has received a nomination in the defenders category. The Magheracloone man broke onto the Monaghan panel last year, but thrived as a corner-back this year.

Finally, Carrickmacross' Stephen O'Hanlon has been nominated as a forward. It was a fascinating year for O'Hanlon, who was a threat for Monaghan going backwards and forwards.

The All-Star nominations were chosen by a group of Gaelic Games Correspondents from across print, radio, tv and digital media and was chaired by Uachtarán CLG, Jarlath Burns.
