Maureen Marron (née Clarke), Loughanure, Clane, Co. Kildare and late of Knappagh, Shercock, Co. Cavan. September 30, 2026, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of St. Brigid's Hospice, The Curragh.
Beloved wife of the late Frank. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving partner Pat, children Anthony, Mary, Francis and Magdalene, daughter-in-law Natasha, sons-in-law Richard and John, grandchildren Charlotte, Lucia, Frankie, Clare, Stephen and John, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Oliver Reilly's Funeral Home, Prosperous (W91T62P) on Friday from 4pm-8pm.
Removal from her residence on Saturday at 1.30pm to arrive at St. Patrick & St. Brigid's Church, Clane for 2pm funeral mass, followed by burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Shercock, Co. Cavan (A81 RF79) arriving at approx 5.30pm.

Carmel Waters (née McNiff), Fearglass North, Mohill, Co. Leitrim and formerly of Glangevlin, Co. Cavan, Thursday October 1, 2026 suddenly at her residence.
Predeceased by her beloved husband; William (Willie), her parents; Margaret and James and her brothers; John and Jim.
Carmel will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by her daughters; Caroline (Damian), Kathleen (Rory), Noelle (Padraig), sons; James (Orla) and Kieran, sisters Rose and Mary, sister-in-law; Anne, brother-in-law; Eugene and her 12 cherished grandchildren; Rachel, Lauren, John, Edel, Jack, Cian, Leah, Emily, Mark, Emma, Rian and Eva, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Breege McKeown (née Greenan), Swellan Lower and formerly Jubilee Terrace, Cavan Town, Friday, October 2, 2026, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Eugene and Mary Greenan (Milltown), her brothers Paddy and Eugene and her sister Anna.
Breege was dearly loved and will be very sadly missed by her heartbroken family. Her devoted husband and best friend Brian, her beloved sons Niall and Kieran (Claire), her adored granddaughter Isabel, sisters Mary and Margaret, her much loved nephews and nieces (especially Brian, Eugene and Mary), all her extended family, her good neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12 C821) on Sunday afternoon from 4pm until 6pm.
Breege's Funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 11.30 am in the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan.

Carmel Higgins, Kinawley, Co. Fermanagh and formerly of Drumouna, Drung, Co. Cavan, who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at the home of her sister Bernie and brother-in-law Owen McPhillips, Carrickmore, Ballyhaise, Co. Cavan, on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Predeceased by her parents Walter and Teresa Higgins.
Sadly missed by her loving partner Francie Smith, brother Gary, sister Bernie McPhillips, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow Saturday from 6pm until 8pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 12 noon in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Drung. Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Anne Mary (Annamay) Garrett m.s. Gargan, Kilwinning, Ayrshire, Scotland and formerly of Moyle, Tierworker, Co Meath. Peacefully in Ayrshire Central Hospital on September 18, 2026.
Predeceased by her husband William, her son Ian, brother Philip and sisters Rose, Eileen and Margaret.
A loving mother who will always be missed by her children Shirley and David, son-in-law Colin, granddaughters Alissa and Kelsey, brother Micko and sister Bridget.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Crosshouse Hospital and Woodland View, Ayrshire Central Hospital and community carers for the care and warmth shown to Annamay during her stays in hospital and at home.

Paul Loughran, Cavanaguilla, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, who passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 30.
Predeceased by his beloved mother Mary and his baby daughter Charlotte.
Paul will be deeply and sadly missed by his broken-hearted wife Pamela, his cherished children James and Ava, his father Patsy, sisters Ann (Noel) and Sheila (Paddy), brothers Ciaran (Una) and Kevin (Diane), his parents-in-law Gerry and Barbara, his nephews, nieces, godchildren, extended family, neighbours, work colleagues and his many friends.
Paul will repose privately at his family home, with the house strictly private to close family and friends only, please.
Paul’s funeral cortege will leave the family home on Saturday morning October 3, arriving at St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney, for funeral mass at 11 am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
The family respectfully ask that their privacy be observed at this very difficult time, allowing them precious time together in the family home.

Removal on Monday morning from his residence driving to Farney Street and proceeding on foot via Main Street and O’Neill Street to St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross, A81 K253, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
