Design team sought for 16-unit Virginia housing scheme
Cavan County Council has published a tender for an architect-led design team to progress plans for a minimum 16-unit residential development at Rathdrum, Virginia.
The successful team will be responsible for developing the architectural proposals, preparing and submitting planning applications, coordinating engineering and cost services, and supervising construction. The scope also includes project management, stakeholder engagement, quality assurance and health and safety oversight.
The planned programme is expected to run for approximately 59 weeks for the construction element; while the overall contract duration is listed as 41 months, including any options or renewals.
The Rathdrum scheme forms part of Cavan County Council’s wider efforts to expand residential infrastructure and support housing provision in the county.
The tender will be awarded using the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) criterion and submissions must be received by noon on October 20.
