Students get ready to model creations at Junk Kouture regional finals

Almost 20 designs from five separate schools from across Cavan and Monaghan are building up for Junk Kouture’s Northern Regional Final in Derry's The Millennium Forum later this evening (Thursday), February 27.
In total there will be four designs by students presented by students at St Bricin's College in Belturbet, one from Kingscourt Youthreach, two from Largy College in Clones, eight from St Louis Secondary in Monaghan, and four from Beech Hill College.
The local pupils are busy adding the finishing touches to their haute couture recycled designs, before strutting their stuff at this evening's regional final in the hope of bagging a place in the grand final on the 3Arena stage on April 30.
For four entries from St Bricin's College are:

Paper Doll- Nadine Maguire (model), Megan Fitzpatrick and Aaron Maguire

Flower Fairy- Megan Fitzpatrick (model), Nicole Costin and Caleb Fitzpatrick

Olé Olé- Sonia de Ponte Cuesta (model), Jorge Gil Nagel and Jaime Neri Cordon

Recycled Gladiator- Jake Blewitt (model), Kian Mc Gurren and Fionnan Donohoe

Troy Amour, CEO of Junk Kouture revealed: “I am very proud to be involved in one of Ireland’s most prestigious post-primary competition. Each year, more and more students are entering which brings a new wave of creativity and fresh talent to Junk Kouture. I cannot wait to see what this year will bring; it’s looking like it will be our strongest and most competitive yet.”
