Coffee morning in Butlersbridge Hall

Cavan people are being asked to extend a hand of assistance to some of the poorest people on earth by supporting a coffee morning this Sunday.

It takes place on Sunday October 15 in Butlersbridge Hall at 11am to raise funds for an agricultural building project in West Africa.

A group, including Paul Connolly, Michael Galligan, Forrest Pierce and Gemma Lee are travelling to Burkina Faso in West Africa this December 2017 to help build a farm school.

Burkina Faso is the second poorest country in the world and many survive on subsistence farming. Fr Expedit Gnoumou hopes his farm school will improve farming practice and give people a better standard of living.

Paul Connolly Opticians directly funds this school as part of the Economy of Communion, a business network of over 800 companies worldwide that directly fund projects. All are welcome to the coffee morning and donations will go to building a dairy in the farm school.
