Two arrested following chase

Gardaí in Cavan have confirmed that they arrested two men after a car chase in the early hours of this morning.

A vehicle was taken from Cavan town and following a chase by a Garda patrol car the two occupants, both males in their early 20s, were arrested in the Lavey area this morning.

Gardaí have confirmed that they were interviewing the suspects.
