Castlerahan Family Fun Day

What: A family fun day at Castlerahan Community Centre and grounds from 1pm onwards. Under age football blitz starting at 12 noon. Also expect: children’s art competition, children’s races, Irish dancing, skittles, ICA craft demonstrations, BBQ food, tractor run and lots more. Flicker of Hope Walk
Where: Virginia
When: Friday, June 20
What: In aid of cancer research and Virginia Cancer Fund a walk will take place this Friday, June 20. Admission from 9.30pm and walk commencing at 10.45pm. A short music-filled and candle-lit stroll, starting at Virginia lake shore, past the golf course, through the town and back to the Lake Shore – suitable for all levels of fitness. Various musicians will be dotted throughout the circuit culminating with the beautiful sound of the Virginia Gospel Choir at the end. Honour those who have died, celebrate those who survive and hope for a cancer free future. If you can’t come on the night, you can dedicate a candle either in memory of or support of someone you love. Craft Group Exhibition

Summer Solstice Festival
