Robert Mizzell plays the Country Club this Saturday night.

What's on for the weekend

HIGHLIGHT

Robert Mizzell at the Country Club on Saturday night...

Well you get down the fiddle and you get down the bow, kick off your shoes and you throw them on the floor, dance in the Kilmore 'till the morning light, it’s the Country Club on Saturday night.
Yes you’ll get to hear 'Louisiana Saturday Night’ and many other hits by the Bayou State’s Robert Mizzell, when he brings his authentic brand of country music to the Hotel Kilmore this Saturday, November 28.
There’s a real buzz about Mizzell at the moment as he’s on the bill for the 'Boogie on the Brava 2016’ and his new single 'John Deere Beer’ has caused quite a stir.
The song, written by Martin Moran, has since been banned on SKY 266 'Ireland West TV’ and 'Hot Country’ but the music video is clocking up quite a few hits online and fans are sure to be treated to a performance in Cavan this Saturday night.
A regular on the Country Club stage, Mizzell always guarantees a crowd - no surprise really as he was voted 'Ireland’s Favourite Country Music Singer’.
That status was built on the success of his hits such as 'Kick Ass Country’, 'Say You Love Me’, 'Mama Courtney’, 'Cajun Dance’, 'Papa Loved Mama’, 'Wham Bam’ and 'Murder On Music Row’, his duet with top American country artist, Collin Raye.
Robert has made Ireland his home for over 20 years, and, along with his band 'The Country Kings’, has released nine solo studio albums and a full length DVD, and is constantly touring Ireland and the UK.
