Mostly light showers predicted over bank holiday

It's more a case of April showers rather than May sunshine predicted, but over all the weather forecast shouldn't overly dampen this Bank Holiday weekend. Met Eireann give tomorrow mostly dry with a chance of light showers in West Cavan on Saturday morning with the rest of the county remaining dry throughout. There could be heavier showers coming in from the west on Saturday night, with light showers interrupting Sunday's fun and games. Heavier rainfall is due on Sunday night with light showers persisting through much of Bank Holiday Monday; showers will be heavier in the west of the county.

If you're taking part in any of the Cavan Walking Festival, don't forget the old adage: there's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.
