WHAT: Ballyhaise soccer club are holding a children's Hallowe'en Disco in Ballyhaise Community Centre on Friday, October 27 from 7pm to 9pm. All children from the local National Schools and surrounding areas are welcome to attend. Prizes for best fancy dress and lots more with DJ Ryan. Event will be well supervised and lots of fun guaranteed.

CD LAUNCH

WHAT: CD launch will take place in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva on this Friday October 27 in Aid of Downs Syndrome Ireland. “In the shadow of the Old Mill Wheel” was recorded by Seamus Sheridan and those who have heard it already are loud in their praise of it. Special Guests will be John Glenn former lead singer with the Mainliners Showband, Kay of the Nashville Sound Band, Barney Brady – Na Fianna Band, Pauric Farrell – Fanfare Band. Music on the night by Seamus Farrell Breffni Country Band and the M.C. on the night is M.P. Cummins of Sky TV and Mid-West Radio [Co. Mayo] and also editor of Irish Country music in the Farmers Journal. Auction for 2014 Irish World Cup Jersey signed by Player’s and Subs. Raffle on the night for good prizes.

WHAT:. The “Dogs Trust” will host a Free Dog Safety Workshop at 3pm in Ballinamore library. This will feature a furry friend and will focus on dog safety especially around Halloween. An afternoon not to be missed by dog lovers.

WHAT: Cuan Cancer Support Group are hosting a coffee/tea day in St Clare's building, Main Street, Cavan from 10am. All proceeds to provide free and confidential counselling service to anyone affected with cancer and their family members.
