Shercock company nominated for top prize in Q Mark Awards

 
Shercock company Carton Bros is in line to win the top prize at this year’s National Q Mark Awards, having seen off tough competition from hundreds of excellent Irish businesses, it was announced last night. 
Irene Collins, the Managing Director of Excellence Ireland Quality Association, announced yesterday that the team from Carton Bros. have exceeded the normal standards of quality and excellence and have set the standard that all other companies should be aiming for.
“The nomination in this category recognises that Carton Bros. is operating at the highest standard of Hygiene and Food Safety in the country,” she said. 
Carton Bros. is a family run business, employing over 650 talented people in the poultry industry, constantly researching and benchmarking against its competitors both in Ireland and abroad.

This year’s Q Mark awards ceremony will take place in Dublin’s Burlington Hotel on September 27 when the team from Carton Bros. in Cavan will go head to head with the best Irish businesses of 2013 to vie for what are known in the trade as ‘The Oscar’s of Business Excellence’.
