String of properties set for monster auction

The upcoming Allsop auction has released a catalogue of properties for sale and has highest amount from Cavan to date.

Properties range in location from Blacklion and Dowra through Belturbet and Cavan Town right down to Mullagh and includes commercial buildings, clusters of houses selling in one lot and apartments.

Two lots of houses feature on the catalogue with five for sale as one in Blacklion and nine going together in Oak Manor in Latt, just outside Cavan Town.
Numbers 32, 42, 43 ,44, 45, 56, 63, 65 and 66 at Oak Manor have an attached reserve of between €350-375K.
They are described as “nine three-bedroom residential units, ranging in size from 103 sq m (1,108 sq ft) to 119 sq m (1,280 sq. ft) and are of varying levels of completion'. The estate is located four kilometres from Cavan Town Centre.
The five Blacklion four-beds, three of which are detached, come in with a reserve of €195K and are at the Bonnán Buí housing estate in the village.
Numbers 23, 26, 27, 28 and 29 and are described as being in varying stages of completion and each house is arranged over ground and first floor. They have a reserve attached of €195K.
Over in nearby Belturbet an industrial unit with a reserve of 45K is described as “a warehouse unit extending to approximately 426.24 sq m”.
At Coollegreane, Dowra, a “detached two bedroom house extending to approximately 87 sq m (936 sq ft)” has a reserve of €20K.
On Mullagh’s Main Street two retail units are under the hammer and come with a reserve of €55-65K. The two are “arranged over ground floor only to provide two modern retail units of extensively glazed frontage to be offered collectively as one lot”. They also have an informal tenancy income of €10,800 per annum.
Also in the village is 39 Ardlo Manor - a first and second floor three bedroom duplex apartment extending to approximately 81 sq. m (872 sq. ft), subject to a tenancy with a reserve of €35K.
Elsewhere, an apartment in Cavan Town is on offer for a reserve of €30K and is at Lisdarn Heights. Allsops describes it as a “First floor two bedroom apartment. Building arranged over ground and one upper floor beneath a pitched roof. We are informed that the property extends to approximately 62 sq m (667 sq ft)”.
Again and in Cavan Town at Ardkeen comes with a reserve of €40K and is a “Semi-detached, three-bedroom house. Two storey beneath a pitched roof. Gardens to the front and rear. The property extends to approximately 86 sqm (927 sq ft)”.
On the same estate just a few doors down comes a similar property with the same reserve: “A semi detached three bedroom house extending to approximately 91 sq m (980 sq ft), subject to a tenancy”.
The auction takes place in the RDS in Dublin on February 18.
