Killyconnan students are the bizz!

Second class pupils from Killyconnan National School have been chosen as one of five finalists in a 'Hi- Glo Silver' nationwide road safety poster competition.

But the students and their teacher Andrea Lynch are appealing for votes to claim the overall prize.

They designed a poster 'Be the Bizz Wear a HIGH VIZ - Don't be left out in the dark' for the competition.

It made the final cut but voting is via Facebook only.

To vote, click on the link below, select the photo of the Killyconnan poster and click 'like'. Voting closes on May 18.

The class will attend an awards ceremony in Dublin Castle on June 6 where they will receive €500 for their school and a plaque along with a trip to Dublin Zoo.
The overall winner of this competition will be chosen by the public based on the number of votes/likes they receive for their entry. The grand prize is €2,000.
