St Pat's students last visitors to barracks

The students were making a recent visit to the barracks as part of their CSPE Action Project with their teacher, Ms Claire Rahill. They were given a comprehensive guided tour of the barracks and its facilities by Corporal Richie Costello and Corporal Noel Higgins. They were treated to a surprise adventure by Private Andrew Pilkington who donned his camouflage outfit and then asked the students to find him. A task a lot harder than said. Next was a visit to the gym where Corporal Dessie Kennedy, Private Kevin Sheridan, Private Andrew Pilkington, Private Fergal McNulty, Private Francie Lane and Private Chris Gibbons took the lads in groups to demonstrate various weaponary. The students would like to thank all the soldiers involved and especially Corporal Richie Costello and Corporal Noel Higgins for a thoroughly enjoyable morning spent at Dún Uí Neill Army Barracks.
