Frank Maguire can take consolation that, despite his 35 points not getting a prize, his team are now vying with Brendan Cox"s in the team competition. Castle Hume hosted Blacklion for the annual matchplay competition this Saturday, and with a course in great condition and under blue skies, a great day was had by all. Indeed, after totalling the scores, it was impossible to separate the teams, 16points each being a fair reflection on a good day"s golf. A great night was had by all and a huge thank you to Margaret Copas and Noreen McKenna for buying the fabulous prizes, to the kitchen for looking after us so well, to Mary Logue steward and the Ann McCarthy for supplying the Karaoke.....Where was Simon Cowell when we needed him!
