FAS community employment vacancies

Vacancies exist on the FAS Community Employment project at the Cavan Centre, Kilnacrott, for a Maintenance Person; duties include upkeep of grounds, painting and small construction jobs, and a Catering/Household Assistant; duties include assisting in the kitchen, housekeeping and general cleaning.  Hours are 19 1/2 per week.  To be eligible for Community Employment, applicants must be 21 years of age or over, unemployed for at least 12 months and in receipt of Unemployment Assistance / Benefit, Disability Benefit or One Parent Family Payment.  Contact Teresa at 049-8544436 for further details or apply with CV.

Healing Mass

 Family Tree Healing Mass for the Holy Souls in Holy Trinity Abbey, Kilnacrott, on Friday, 30th November at 8pm.  Holy water, oil and salt will be blessed.  Celebrant Abbot Kevin Smith.  Information 049-4336291.

Pilgrimage

 A pilgrimage to Our Lady Queen of Peace House of Prayer takes place on Saturday, November 17th with Mass in Knock at 9am with Novena in honour of the Blessed Trinity in House of Prayer at 12 noon.  Coach will leave Cavan Bus Office at 6.45am and for bookings contact 049-4336291 / 087 2549960.
