Drumavaddy Choir will sing at Mass this Saturday evening .  All members are asked to attend.

Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

 There will be no exposition of the Blessed Sacrament on Wednesday 26th December or on Wednesday  2nd January. It will resume on Wednesday 9th January.

Parish Social

Denn annual Parish Social will be held in the Carraig Springs on Friday 28th December. This is always a great occasion to celebrate the Christmas Cheer with fellow parishioners as well as a fund raising event for the parish . Music is by Ian Pickens and a large turnout is expected.

First Communion and Confirmation

First Communion will take place on Saturday 6th April 2008 and Confirmation takes place on Friday 23rd.May 2008.

Denbawn and Drumavaddy School Reunion Committee

The DVD and videos are now on sale and are disappearing fast. This is a real trip down memory lane of the Reunion weekend and all the activities are shown with great clarity and colour. There are also scenic views of almost every townland in the area and a commentary of the history. There are also interviews with some of the guests from at home and abroad. This is a great keepsake for every household in the area and would make an ideal Christmas gift .The calendar is a very fine production of photographs and memorabilia. Every page has another treasure trove of pictures and views.   The commemorative book of the Reunion is currently on sale . This will make an ideal Christmas Gift for relatives at home and abroad. It contains articles, poems and stories penned by local people of the area , photographs galore together with historical accounts and archaeological features of this area.
