No Ties!

In the olden times many houses had what was called the "rag bag".  In this bag you would get bits and pieces of all types of material, shoe laces, bits of string, belts stockings, ties, you name it!.  You always had something to use as a tie.    The younger generation would not have heard of such a thing and sadly we have the bin bags left out for collection untied, with all the contents spilling out along the street or roadside.   This is proving to be an unwelcome litter problem in some areas so all you young folk start a "rag bag" and you will never be without a tie!!

Wet weather

Over the past few weeks there has been lots of rain locally, and ground conditions are very heavy and wet at the present time.
