Castletara and Crosserlough take the honours

TWO Under 14 finals were played in Ballyhaise on Friday 29 August. The first was between Laragh and Castletara at 6pm. This was an exciting game throughout. However it was to be Castletara"s day with the final score of 6-3 to 5-3. A very good score for a final with excellent camogie from both teams. There was some excellent play from Shannon Magill (Laragh), Caoimhe Rudden and Claire Fitzpatrick ( Castletara), Claire Fitzpatrick also ended up winning the Player of the Match. The Division Two final was also played in Ballyhaise at a later time of 7pm between Crosserlough and Ballinagh with Crosserlough coming out on top by by 6-2 to 1-1. Player of the match was Rebecca Dunne, Ballinagh. Amazing skill There was an amazing level of skill shown in both games with Castletara coming out as Division One county winners and Crosserlough as Division Two winners. Both games were refereed by Frank McDonald.
