Hamilton IV pays visit to Drumkeeran Presbytery
Lovers of country and southern gospel music are in for a real treat this weekend when the legendary George Hamilton IV presents an afternoon to remember in Drumkeeran Presbyterian Church at 3pm, on Sunday, February 15. Children and adults from the whole community are most welcome to come and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of country/gospel music and inspiration, as well as hospitality afterwards, provided by the ladies of the PW branch. Offerings can be made during interval and proceeds will go to Christian and local charities, including Caroline Armstrong"s voluntary service with Operation Wallacea in South Africa and Mozambique in June. George, as a gentle Christian, has offered several charity Gospel Concerts in the UK, the US and Ireland, during time out from his general tour schedules. His presentation of Gospel Readings, stories and poems along with several Gospel and spiritual songs touch the hearts of his audiences.
