Cootehill man scoops a Punto in car giveaway

A Cootehill man was the lucky winner of McGuigan Motors' Fiat Punto giveaway. Kieran Ryan drove away in the Evo Multijet diesel car valued at €17,000 with its super economy and €104 annual road tax. After over a month long phone competition with Northern Sound it was eventually narrowed down to 20 finalists, 10 from Monaghan and 10 from Cavan who were greeted at McGuigan's on the balmy Friday afternoon. The finalists eagerly competed through two knockout stages and then we were left with six contestants who's job was to pick the envelope that contained the winning key. The excitement was electric as Kieran was first up and correctly picked the winning key. With members of his family present Kieran opened the car to shouts of excitement from everyone present in the courtyard at McGuigan Motors. The organisers congratulate Kieran and hope he enjoys many years of happy motoring in his new Fiat Punto. He already knows the virtues of this car as a close family member, James Finnegan purchased a similar car only weeks ago.
