Moore plays Slieve Russell but won't be at Quinn rally

Christy Moore may not be playing the Quinn rally on Sunday, but he will be playing the Slieve Russell on Saturday night. The former Planxty legend will be joined on stage by the superb guitarist Declan Sinnott. Speculating that Moore may be coaxed into giving a song or two at the Quinn rally in Ballyconnell on Sunday afternoon (although we have no idea of his stance on the matter), the Celt checked with the folk singer's management. However they said that Moore's not staying in Cavan on Saturday night and has an engagement in Dublin on Sunday morning. Who is on the list of guest speakers for the rally is a tightly guarded secret. If you can't get to the Christy Moore concert, here he is playing a Floyd tune:
