Over €3m available to local groups in PEACE III

Funding of €3,127,807 has been made available to local groups for Cavan County Council (Lead Partner) under Priority 1 Reconciling Communities of the EU Peace III Phase II programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The money came on stream in July 2012. and whilst most of the funding was specifically allocated to a number of projects throughout the County, Cavan Peace Partnership is now making a call for applications from other local groups allowing them access to funding of between €5,000 to €15,000 and engage in peace and reconciliation work at a local and cross border level. If you have an idea for a project or would like some additional information then the Council are inviting you to attend a public information and diversity training session on Monday, January 14, 2013 in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan from 10.00am to 3.00pm. It is essential to confirm your attendance on or before 3.00pm on Friday, January 11, 2013. Applications will be available to download from Monday, January 14, 2013 at www.cavancoco.ie.
