Speaking of the news he said 'It was expected but it still came as a shock, I stayed up until 1am just watching the footage of all that he's achieved. It has affected all South Africans in many ways, I saw many people in South Africa on the news dancing and singing outside of his home, and I can relate to that because of all that he has done, his life is a celebration and people are honoring that.

The book of condolence opens at 1pm today in Cavan Courthouse.
