Body of missing stradone woman found
The body of missing woman Elaine McCann from Stradone has been found in Cavan.
Her remains were discovered during a search operation last night involving local gardaí and Boyne River Rescue.
The 43-year-old had been missing from her home in Stradone, Cavan since last Friday 19 December.
She was described as being 5’8’’ in height, 11 stone in weight with short dark hair, and last seen wearing dark coloured clothing and a dark coloured Liverpool FC jacket.
