Priorities:

I don’t believe in right and left politics - I believe in right and wrong politics.
One of my primary concerns are the lack of employment and investment in the constituency.
Another concern is that there are thousands of Eastern European criminals operating with impunity in Ireland today, many of whom have blighted the lives of families in Cavan and Monaghan.
Our Government are determined to grant asylum to initially 20,000 alleged refugees and migrants without undertaking any proper risk assessment.
The closure of Garda stations has resulted in many of our people including elderly people now living in fear and feeling abandoned.
I will introduce a bill to classify crime against the elderly as a special category of crime which will result in harsher penalties.
Reopen the 24-hour A&E department in Monaghan now.
I want a Government department established to deal specifically with mental health issues to include a full Cabinet position.
I will support all efforts to abolish the toxic entity that is Irish Water.
The future construction of electric pylons and wind farms should be halted until the legally required environmental assessment and cost benefit analysis is carried out.
