FUNDRAISING DANCE

What: A fundraising dance

Where: The Lavey Inn

When: Friday night, January 20.

Ireland’s Leading county star Michael English will be taking to the stage and providing the music.
This very enjoyable event is being staged in aid of St Christopher’s
Hospice in Cavan Town. There will be beautiful food served on the night and the admission is €30.
If you just want to take in the dance, the admission fee is €15 and there will be lots of fabulous raffle prizes up for grabs on the night. The doors open at 7.30pm.

CHRISTIAN SERVICE

What: Cavan Christian Bookshop are hosting a special church service. The speaker on the evening will be Neil MacCarthaigh and the service will be lead by Leon McDermott. Everyone is welcome.

REUNION EVENT

Where: Longford Arms Hotel
When: Friday January 20
What: Throughout the 1980s and 90s Burlington /Atlantic Mills in Longford employed many people from the area in its factory in Clondra, Longford. A reunion of past employees is being organised and takes place on Friday, January 20. The evening begins with Mass in Longford Cathedral at 7:30pm for deceased employees and family members, Fr Sean Kelly, a former employee, will celebrate the Mass, then it’s on to the Longford Arms Hotel at 9pm for an evening of music, a meal and reunion time. PRESENTATION

What: Arva Trotters will be host their annual presentation to Downs Syndrome Ireland this Saturday, January 21, at 9pm in the Breffni Arms Hotel, Arva. All funds raised throughout the year will be presented to representatives of Downs Syndrome Ireland, and an opportunity to all to together for a night of fun! Arva Trotters would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part in our events throughout the year, including the Easter Bunny Hop & the Turkey Trot on St Stephen's Day.
